AI何以扭转企业创新策略?——基于人工智能“双区”联动的准自然实验

以人工智能“双区”联动为准自然实验,基于2011—2022年A股上市公司数据,构建多期DID模型,实证考察人工智能对企业创新策略的影响及其作用机制。研究发现,若同一地区兼具“试验区”和“先导区”双重身份,人工智能可以实现企业创新策略趋向实质性创新;人工智能“双区”联动通过释放知识创造效应和成本节约效应来扭转企业创新策略;技术密集度越高,人工智能越能增加实质性创新产出。应强化“双区”联动与要素协同,驱动应用深度落地;坚持因地制宜与分类指导,实现精准创新治理。
Abstract:
This paper takes the dual-zone linkage of artificial intelligence as a quasi-natural experiment and,based on the data of A-share listed companies from 2011 to 2022,constructs a multi-period DID model to empirically examine the impact of artificial intelligence on corporate innovation strategies and its mechanism.The research finds that when a region has both the status of an experimental zone and a pilot zone,artificial intelligence can lead their innovation strategies towards substantive innovation,and this innovation strategy tendency is sustainable.Mechanism tests reveal that the dual-zone linkage of artificial intelligence transforms corporate innovation strategies through the release of knowledge creation effects and cost-saving effects.Industry heterogeneity analysis shows that the higher the technological intensity,the more artificial intelligence can increase substantive innovation output.It is essential to strengthen coordination between the "Two Zones" and the synergy of production factors to drive the deep-seated implementation of applications;furthermore,we must adhere to the principles of adapting to local conditions and providing tailored guidance to achieve precise innovation governance.
